The building needed full modernisation and required updates to comply with current building regulations and, as such, the electrics, fire alarm and lighting were all replaced. Our designer had to work sympathetically with the building’s existing structure as limited internal structural demolition was permitted. This included the modification of the air conditioning system to enable it to work effectively with the new layout. Our designers were given carte blanche with the design and colours but without being able to structurally alter the internal walls, they had to be creative with the design to maximise the spaces for workflow optimisation whilst reflecting the history of both the building and background of the brand.
