Marriott Vacation Club’s portfolio includes over 60 resorts and thousands of accommodations worldwide. This project involved the integration of a new mechanical system within all guest suites throughout the hotel.
To ensure that the refurbishment was as seamless as possible and to minimise disruption to hotel guests, we suggested a two-phased approach to the project. Since parts of the hotel were occupied 24/7, it was important that we worked around the guests and minimised any disruption while the works were in progress. We ensured that the air conditioning, power, lighting and other services were still functioning for the hotel guests in the occupied areas. Although there were significant challenges along the way due to the age of the building and the guest occupation, the works were completed within the timeframe and within budget.
